WarBirds - The Cutting Edge

 



 

The The Cutting Edge volume will see World War II technology reused with the first turbojet powered aircraft in police actions around the world. New rules cover air-to-air missiles, ejection seats, RADAR, radar gun sights and advances in aircraft performance and capability. Later modules will see the combat aircraft develop into the very capable weapon system we know today. Infrared and radar homing missiles that may engage targets beyond visual range, smart air-to-ground weapons, electronic countermeasures, terrain following radar and much more.

Includes Second Taiwan Strait Crisis, 23 August 1958 – 22 September 1958 (First "kill" by AIM-9)
